The Heart Behind the Work | Klaudia Budna

Role: Project Manager

Me, in a sentence

Curious, open-minded and personable, with an appreciation for new ideas and perspectives. I like to bring a touch of personality to conversations – whether through cultural anecdotes, varied interests, or an ever-evolving taste in music.

Would you say you’ve always been a creative person?

I’ve always had a creative streak. Growing up it showed up through art, fashion, photography and dance. Later, it found its way into my work, mostly through creative problem-solving and the occasional inventive ways around a “no.” Recently, I’ve been rediscovering those original creative outlets again, both professionally and personally.

What’s a piece of work you wish you had created?

Michelangelo – Sistine chapel

A quote or saying you live by?

“The most consequential thing in life isn’t dying… it’s probably staying alive without living” – Steven Bartlett

What do you do when you feel creatively stuck?

Pause, walk, stretch, have a snack – in that order.

What’s caught your attention in the creative world recently?

There’s two:

  1. Giorgio Armani × Kith Marble Quarry Dinner
  2. Aston Martin × Glenfiddich Harrods Rooftop (Helideck) Dinner

Heavily influenced by my everyday work as a Project Manager, these two brand activations have really stayed with me. They’re the kind of projects that make me think, “oh boy, I wish I’d been part of that.” Aesthetically they’re absolutely dreamy, and from a logistical and production perspective they must have required an incredible level of specialist expertise to bring to life. I’m genuinely in awe of the work behind them.

When you’re not in the office, where are people most likely to find you?

I’m still fairly new to London and have been enjoying discovering its best coffee spots, restaurants, venues, and green spaces. Lately, my time is split between training, exploring the city’s members’ clubs, and slower evenings at home with my best friend. There’s always good conversation flowing while she cooks something delicious.

Your proudest career moment to date?

Camp Monkey 2025 was a defining moment. Seeing the impact the experience had on each guest made it feel deeply personal, with the level of appreciation throughout leaving a lasting impression. Developing strong relationships with the host venue teams was equally important, reinforcing my approach to collaboration – one rooted in mutual respect, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to excellence.

What’s next?

To summarise in three:

  1. I look forward to putting all my skills to test for a big TBA project to showcase exactly why I love what I do and make TBA proud!
  2. Travel wise, I’m starting to plan my trips to Japan and Thailand (again).
  3. Outside of activities, I’m excited to welcome my new foster dog who will no doubt, turn out to be a bundle of pure joy, love and affection!
