Role: Junior 2D Creative Designer
Me, in a sentence
Curious, energetic, ambitious and creative. I love making things that connect people, whether that’s through design, events or movement.
Would you say you’ve always been a creative person?
Yeah, definitely, I’ve always been drawn to how things look and feel, but it really clicked when I realised there is SO MUCH too it. Not just design but also problem solving being a massive part of creativity too!
What’s a piece of work you wish you had created?
Nike After Dark. The way it blended community, culture and movement with a slick design language felt effortless. I had the pleasure of being involved and ran the course and it honestly felt like an immersive video game!
A quote or saying you live by?
“Life’s short. Be Kind.” Always my mantra when I’m approaching any situation and reminds me to just be kind, patient and everything will fall into place.
What do you do when you feel creatively stuck?
I move… Usually a run or a walk clears my head/ inspires me.
What’s caught your attention in the creative world recently?
More brands leaning into community-led experiences rather than big campaigns. It shows people prefer to feel part of something, not just fed information.
When you’re not in the office, where are people most likely to find you?
At the gym or running, maybe hosting or attending events; I’m a big advocate for being busy, moving and being around likeminded people.
Your proudest career moment to date?
Recently I hosted and helped to put on a creative panel event. It was super fun seeing people connect in a space I helped shape, felt really rewarding.
What’s next?
Building on the projects I’m involved in right now, learning more from the creative community, getting more stuck into the organisation and implementation of events/ community incentives as I continue to grow as a designer.
Also taking on the London Marathon this year!
